Classics of photo art in the Kiev art gallery "Brucie Collections"

From November 14 to the first of January, Kievans have the opportunity to get acquainted with the work of the world famous photographer Bill Brandt. His career covers most of the twentieth century. Born in 1904, he took up photography at the age of 16. And by the end of his life, he became a recognized photographer, the owner of a dozen prestigious awards, 20 personal photo albums.

Sequential shooting, nudity, portraits, surreal photos, entertaining compositions and abstractions - the photographer excelled in all these genres and became the brightest figure of his era. The reincarnation of the human body, night landscapes, the will to live and love for the Foggy Albion, became characteristic features of his work.

Graceful, deep, powerful, original, disturbing, reminiscent - each of his pictures is like a frozen eternity, a silent cry to humanity: “Notice! Wake up! ” More than one generation of photographers has grown on the examples of his works. In an era when one could only dream of such helpers as graphic editors, he created masterpieces! The strength of the impact of which is not weakening so far.
