Pictures of young artist Karine Babayan will show the beauty of Armenia

ASTRAKHAN. A personal exhibition of paintings by the young artist Karine Babayan has opened in the hall of the museum complex "House of the Merchant Tetyushinov". Karine was born in Armenia, in the city of Byureghavan, however, in 2004 she moved to Astrakhan, where she lives and works to this day.

Even in her native city, Karine’s main hobby was fine art, but it so happened that upon arrival in Astrakhan, already having the specialty of a computer operator, she began to comprehend the basics of professional painting, enrolling in an art school. In 2012, the young artist graduated with honors.

The main and favorite theme of paintings written by Karine Babayan was landscapes with images of her native Armenia. Mount Ararat, which has become a symbol of the Karine homeland, is not forgotten either. The artist tries her strength in other pictorial genres - among more than twenty works presented at the exhibition, portraits and still lifes are housed.

Most of the works housed in the exhibition hall relate to the early works of Karine Babayan. The paintings attract attention with a bright, expressive manner of writing, they are filled with light, illuminated by a genuine feeling of love for the places where the artist spent her childhood, and memories of her native country.

Karine constantly participates in exhibitions held by the Arev Society of Armenian Culture, and in 2009, the first solo exhibition, which became very important for the young artist, was held in the Astrakhan Regional Library. This year another exhibition of works by Karine Babayan was held in the library.

The exhibition will run until August 30th. The exhibition organizers, along with Karine Babayan, invite everyone to get acquainted with the wonderful paintings of a talented artist.
