The first solo exhibition of the artist N.P. Prikazchikova in Astrakhan

ASTRAKHAN. Picture Gallery named after Dogadina represents the work of the Astrakhan artist Nadezhda Petrovna Prikazchikova. Opening on March 5, the exhibition “The Modest Charm of the Province” gathered the artist’s works in oil, gouache and pastel.

Nadezhda Petrovna selected for the exhibition her most interesting works made in one of the most complicated techniques - multilayer classical watercolor. Despite the difficulty of writing such watercolors, this technique is most beloved for the artist, which indicates her high skill.

The exhibition presents mostly landscape painting, which shows how reverently the artist relates to nature. The exact construction of the picture and the rich color of the colors allows you to see not only the natural beauty of the places depicted in the paintings, but also convey the author of the landscapes to their native land.

The artist also creates still lifes of amazing beauty, light and harmonious. Portraits are also presented at the exhibition, during the creation of which the artist conveys not only the appearance of a person, but also reveals his personality, character traits.

The first steps to mastery were made by Nadezhda Prikazchikova at the art school of her native city of Astrakhan, where she received the specialty of a teacher of drawing and drawing. Then the young artist continued her education at the University of Astrakhan, at the Faculty of Fine Arts.

The artist successfully combines her teaching work with creativity, which is an essential part of her life. Nadezhda Petrovna was a participant in many exhibitions at various levels, including international ones. Her work was presented in many cities of the country.

The exhibition of N.P. Prikazchikova awaits visitors until April 30th.
