Exhibition of artist-illustrator V. Pertsov - the best works of the master

MOSCOW. The large exhibition hall of the State Children’s Library invites art lovers to visit the personal exhibition “Near Far”, at which Honored Artist of Russia Vladimir Pertsov presents his work.

Many books cannot be imagined without illustrations, especially for younger readers. Books on the pages of history, with their illustrations, help readers get more detailed information about the "affairs of bygone days." Vladimir Pertsov is one of the most famous talented illustrators, without whose work it is difficult to imagine the publication of many popular books for children.

The works of Vladimir Pertsov took part in many exhibitions held in Russia and in countries near and far abroad. His works are marked by honorary diplomas, the number of which has exceeded forty.

The drawings of a recognized master are always noticeable at any exhibition, each new work amazes with excellent knowledge of historical and ethnographic materials, and the perfectly selected coloring of the drawings allows you to feel the authenticity of the world depicted in the illustrations.

Vladimir Valerievich received the profession of an artist at the Moscow Institute of Printing, which he graduated in 1956. Immediately began to work with publishers of books and magazines. However, the first big work for the artist was the book “Sadko”, released in 1970, which determined the main topics of his work - history, tales, and epics.

Over the years, Vladimir Pertsov designed a large number of books, drawings for magazines, and the design of the primer, published in 1972, is familiar to several generations of first-graders.

The opening exhibition is dedicated to the eightieth anniversary of the artist.
