The exhibition and the highest award celebrated the anniversary of the artist A. Zibarovsky

KOMSOMOLSK-ON-AMUR. The personal exhibition, which opened at the Museum of Fine Arts, marks the double anniversary of one of the oldest artists in the city - Alexander Zibarovsky. The exhibition is dedicated to the fiftieth anniversary of the artist’s creative activity, however, this year Alexander Zibarovsky, who lived all his life in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, noted another round date - he was seventy years old.

The exhibition exposition presents about 80 paintings written by the artist from 1965 to the present. Among the paintings are a large number of portraits of city residents, as well as world-famous personalities. A lot of genre paintings and self-portraits painted in different years.

The organizers of the exhibition selected paintings in such a way that you can trace the entire path of creativity of Alexander Zibarovsky. Looking around the exposition, you can see that a considerable part of them is devoted to the war.

According to the artist, the military theme is close to him, since his father was a participant in the Patriotic War. At first, my father’s stories were a source of inspiration, and later films. If the film impressed the painter, then he became the impetus for the appearance of plot paintings on military topics.

The exhibition has paintings based on impressions of recent events held in the city. The rally held on Victory Day, the holiday "Scarlet Sails" at the time of graduation awarding. Presented at the exposition is a portrait of Chekhov, painted on the anniversary of the writer.

It is worth noting that at the opening of the exhibition, Alexander Zibarovsky was solemnly awarded the well-deserved award - the Silver Order of the Honorary Artist of Russia. The exhibition will run until September 15th, so everyone can see the works of Alexander Zibarovsky.
