In Abakan, an exhibition of the artist Tamara Oshchepkova - "Year of the Horse"

ABAKAN. The exhibition hall "Chyltyz", owned by the Abakan art gallery, on the eve of the upcoming New Year made a gift to residents of the city. Since the coming year according to the Chinese horoscope is considered the year of the horse, the personal exhibition of the famous artist in Abakan, Tamara Oshchepkova, was called “Year of the Horse”.

This name of the exhibition is fully consistent with the content of its exposition - more than fifty paintings, created by the artist since 1988, the main character is a horse. The most graceful animal in the world, depicted on the canvases of Tamara Ivanovna, is a symbol of endurance, independence and liveliness.

The images of horses created by the artist amaze with the accuracy of conveying the character inherent in this surprisingly friendly and active animal, having a natural hard work. In her work, the artist often turns to the image of animals. Horses and wolves enjoy her special love.

At numerous exhibitions of various levels, you can see the wonderful landscapes of the native land, owned by the artist. The rich imagination inherent in a creative person contributes to the appearance in her work of paintings on free topics that allow to rethink reality.

The professional biography of the artist began after graduating from the theater and decoration department of the art school in Krasnoyarsk, where her diploma work was the design of the play “King Lear”. Since 1980, Tamara Oshchepkova worked for 10 years in the Abakan newspaper Sovetskaya Khakassia, and since 1990 has been engaged only in creativity. Her work is always popular with collectors from different countries.

The exhibition dedicated to the Year of the Horse is open until January 19th.
