Declaration of love for the capital of France by V. Larev at the exhibition "BONJOR, PARIS"

CHEBOKSARY. The Chuvash Art Museum invites art lovers to get acquainted with the work of the artist from Cheboksary Vladimir Larev. At the exhibition “BONJOR, PARIS”, which opened in the halls of the museum, dedicated to the anniversary of the painter, about three hundred works will be presented to visitors of the exhibition.

Most of the exposition of the anniversary exhibition is dedicated to Paris, the city that firmly settled in the heart of the artist. Almost two months of a creative trip to the French capital were densely filled with the creation of new works. The results of this trip became vivid landscapes painted on Parisian streets.

In the paintings and drawings filled with the breath of the city, which has become a symbol of the creativity of painters, there are many places that are well known even to those who have not yet managed to visit Paris. Vibrant, colorful landscapes painted using diverse colors attract the eye of every spectator, filling the museum halls with a sense of celebration transferred directly from the streets of Paris.

The Paris cycle was a great creative success for Vladimir Larev, enthusiastically appreciated by critics from Europe. The path to success was difficult. Larev received the profession of an artist at the Cheboksary school, graduating from it in 1979. For a quarter century, he tried to find his place in painting, and only in 2004 did the first serious exhibition of Vladimir Larev take place in Cheboksary, in the art museum.

Then the artist’s paintings were seen by the audience of Paris and Barcelona, Norway and Germany. Many paintings after exhibitions remained in the collections of foreign collectors. Larev showed his work in Russian cities. Exhibitions took place in Saratov, Nizhny Novgorod, St. Petersburg. Muscovites got acquainted with the work of the artist Vladimir Larev in the Central House of Artists and the Art Arena.
