Lecture "Fine art of Baikal region of the XX - beginning of the XXI century"

On November 19, as part of the work of the Museum Lecture, a lecture will be held in the Main Building of the Irkutsk Art Museum. XXI century. " Recall, the lecture hall began its work in September 2016, meetings are held once a month. Earlier, lectures were given by the deputy director of the museum, Natalia Goncharenko, and the leading researcher, Lyudmila Snytko. This time, the speaker is Tatyana Laryova, Ph.D. in Art History, a member of the International Association of Fine Arts of AIAP UNESCO.

About the heroes of this lecture, they sometimes say “the lost generation”. They lived and worked at the turn of the era, when the country, society, ideals, perception of reality changed. But still it would be absolutely wrong to say that they were "lost." Each left a bright mark not only in the art of the Irkutsk region, but also in the country as a whole. Among the personalities are the rebellious and dramatic Boris Desyatkin, the lyrical Sergey Korenev, the poetic and subtly felt Yuri Mitkin, Alexander Shpirko, who are said to be “an esthetician, philosopher, lyricist”. All these artists, unfortunately, have already passed away - too soon, without too much time to do. Their work continues to live, and the paintings participate in many exhibitions.
