The "Golden Collection" in the Stavropol Museum is presented in an updated form

STAVROPOL. The Regional Museum of Fine Arts presented to visitors a new version of the permanent exhibition "Golden Collection", which presents works from its own fund. The renewal of the museum exposition is dedicated to the Year of Culture. All the works of art that made up the exposition tell about the work of Russian artists who created their work in the XVIII - XX centuries.

The exhibition space is created in such a way that when viewing the works placed in it, you can get acquainted with various artistic movements known in Russia at that time. The canvases made by A. Meshchersky, A. Bogolyubov, F. Brunni and other artists provide an opportunity for art lovers to see the talent and the highest level of skill of painters representing the academic school.

The exposition also includes sections devoted to the work of famous artists of the Wanderers, masters of drawing, which traces the pronounced realistic nature of the works belonging to representatives of the "Moscow school". Graduates of the famous Stroganovka are represented by landscapes and portraits.

The museum presented not only copies of the works of famous Italian masters, but also genuine works of various genres collected in the museum fund as a separate section of the exposition. The museum has a significant number of rare works of Italian masters of art, performed in the XVII-XIX centuries.

In an interview given to media representatives by a museum employee Natalia Arkhipova, she said that about three hundred works of art were included in the updated exposition. In addition to painting and sculpture, here you can see samples of porcelain and furniture. It will be possible to get acquainted with Russian art schools within a year.
