Creative Center "Vasiliev Brothers Workshop" presented to the public the exhibition "Renaissance of reality"

KAZAN. The unique Renaissance of Reality exhibition opened on July 2 at the Vasiliev Brothers Workshop, a popular creative center in the city. This exposition, consisting of more than two hundred works, arrived in Kazan from Chelyabinsk, where the ShizArt gallery combined the work of not quite ordinary authors in its exhibition space.

Most of the works collected by the organizers of the exhibition in its exposition were created by people with health problems. They suffer from various mental illnesses. The exposition is made up of a collection provided by the "Center for Contemporary Arts" of Chelyabinsk.

The works selected by the Center for the exhibition were created over the past decade. Psychoneurological hospital No. 1 contributed to the creation of the exposition. Its employees have been collecting a collection of works created by their patients since 1949.

The main part of the authors of the works included in this collection lives in a state of constant internal anxiety, born of mental disorders. The reflection of their state of mind is expressed in the images captured in their drawings and paintings. You can also see collages, applications and computer graphics on display.

The exposition of the Renaissance of Reality exhibition has already visited many Russian cities, supplementing along the way with new works by talented young artists. In Kazan at the opening of the exhibition was attended by the author of the works just included in the ShizArta collection - Kazan artist Timur Aztartov. The curator, Igor Milovankin, presented the exposition of the exhibition.

You can get acquainted with the unique exhibition on July 22. It is open every day, from 16:00 to midnight. The center also holds lectures and poetry evenings at this time.
