Personal exhibition of the Kuban artist Sergei Yashin "Even and Black" in the museum. Kovalenko

KRASNODAR. Guests of the Art Museum. On September 13th, Kovalenko can visit the exhibition “Even and Black”, where the artist Sergei Yashin presented paintings, which are part of two thematic cycles. The cycle of works included in the cycle, called by the author “Art”, combined the works created by Sergei Yashin behind the scenes of the theater.

Most of the paintings give the audience the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of ballet art. The author shows not the ceremonial beauty of the ballet, well known to the public. With the help of his works, Sergey Yashin tries to show the inner world of ballerinas - their emotions, moods and experiences. So the artist reveals to the audience the secrets of the backstage, where the real art comes from.

In the cycle “Notes at the head”, canvases are combined, where the images created by the painter are combined by displaying their inner experiences, their emotional state. The author expresses them using complex angles and original compositions. All canvases shown by Sergey Yashin in the exposition of his personal exhibition are made in gray-black colors.

When creating picturesque images, the artist uses not only skill and special writing technique. For the author, the properties of the materials used at work also become important - the quality of the paints, the texture of the canvases. The author’s style, in which Sergey Yashin works, inextricably links color and form in his works.

This creative individuality, which appeared in the artist due to his love of experimentation, allows authors to create unique works, the content of which is filled with philosophical meaning. The canvases made by Sergey Yashin are deservedly appreciated by medals from the Academy of Arts of the Russian Federation and other prestigious awards.
