Regional Museum of Fine Arts on the anniversary of Murmansk opened several interesting exhibitions of Murmansk artists

MURMANSK. In the first decade of October, the city hosted many events dedicated to the centennial of Murmansk. The regional museum of fine arts joined the celebration of the anniversary, inviting citizens to several art exhibitions.

The visitors were most interested in the exhibition “Warm Northern City”, which opened in mid-September, where museum staff posted graphics from museum funds. Watercolors made by leading masters of Murmansk forced museum guests to take a fresh look at the landscapes of the harsh northern city.

Watercolors represent the city warm, decorated with bright colors of autumn. The watercolor technique allowed to create drawings in which even rainy weather and the sky covered with clouds do not prevent viewers from enjoying the beauty of colorful foliage of trees, colorful sunrises and sunsets. Warm Northern City is available through November 15th.

At the end of last week, October 8, another exhibition was opened - “Girlish mood”. Two artists presented their diverse work in it - Maria Tyulyunova from Murmansk and Olga Lobanova from the city of Polyarnye Zori. This exhibition brought together works created by artists for seven years, starting in 2008.

Visitors who visited their exhibition talk about the bright emotions received when viewing their works, where bright flowers bloom, cheerful and funny characters come to life. The exhibition “Girlish mood”, open until November 8, was the second joint exhibition of artists.

From October 9 to November 1, the exhibition "Borders" was opened, where Maxim Dranitsin presented his work. The artist has a substantial number of admirers of his bright, talented works. Visitors will see the old corners of Murmansk, portraits of contemporaries and floral still lifes.
