MOSCOW. More than a hundred paintings, made by honored artists of the Russian Federation Oleg Osin and Lyudmila Volova, are presented at the exhibition “Together”, which opened on September 6 in the exhibition halls of the Russian Academy of Arts on Prechistenka. The exhibition space of the PAX halls united the work of two artists not by chance - this tandem is not only creative.

For more than half a century, two talented artists have traveled a single life path, and creativity unites them even more on this road. The creative duet, which became famous in monumental art, as the creators of a considerable number of architectural works that adorned the capital and other cities of the country, constantly works in other genres.

Each of the artists has his own author’s style and personal preferences in choosing the themes of his works. Recently, Oleg Ivanovich often paints landscapes of historical places near Moscow, in which architecture is necessarily included. Lyudmila Semyonovna on many of her canvases depicts his family. However, the artist finds inspiration also in southern nature.

During their life in art, artists traveled on creative trips to the Arctic and Siberia, Crimea and Bulgaria. The result of each trip was a picture similar to full-scale studies. Most of these trips inspired painters to create a series of bright, colorful works.

After a trip to Israel, each of the artists reflected his impressions in new paintings. A series of paintings created by Oleg Ivanovich “Thousands of years your hills are unchanged…” was awarded the RAX silver medal. Lyudmila Semyonovna combined her Israeli pastels into the series “Touching Eternity”. These works were also awarded the diploma of the Russian Academy of Arts.

The exhibition "Together" is waiting for visitors until September 25.
