Belgorod Art Museum presented an exhibition of the Voronezh artist Mikhail Viktorov

BELGOROD. Voronezh artist Mikhail Viktorov presented his work at a personal exhibition that opened on June 22 at the city art museum. On the day of the grand opening of the exposition dedicated to the artist by his father, who would have turned one hundred years old this year, one could not only see the works of Mikhail Dmitrievich, but also get to know him personally.

Mikhail Viktorov is known not only as the creator of paintings that received honorary awards at prestigious international exhibitions and art festivals. He is well known as a stage designer and designer. He created sketches for more than fifty performances staged in the theaters of Voronezh, Yaroslavl, Volgograd, Kirov and other Russian cities. For many years, the artist is a member of the STD of Russia. No less successfully Mikhail Dmitrievich is engaged in pedagogical activity.

He has a professional art education, received initially at the Voronezh art school, and then continued at the Faculty of Architecture at the Voronezh Construction Institute. Today, Mikhail Viktorov shares the secrets of the profession with students of the Pedagogical University of Voronezh, working in it as an assistant professor of the design department.

The artist brought to Belgorod canvases made in the decorative style characteristic of his painting. The painting of Mikhail Dmitrievich is characterized by the use of warm, golden tones.

Entered the exposition and work, combined in a series of "Old Photos". They are placed in such a way that you can compare the copyright works of Mikhail Viktorov with family photographs from his archive. Complement the exposition and other graphic works.

Belgorod art lovers can get acquainted with the work of the Voronezh artist until July 17.
