KRASNODAR. In honor of the upcoming celebration of the anniversary of the Krasnodar Territory, the regional exhibition hall presented the exhibition “Colors of the Kuban”. The exposition of the exhibition was created from the works stored in the archives of the artistic director of Kuban University. More than 50 works of various genres, located in the exhibition hall, were performed by students and teachers in different years of the faculty.

The earliest works belong to graduates of 1964, the first graduation of the faculty, founded in 1959. Then, for the first time in the South of Russia, an opportunity appeared to acquire a higher education in the field of art. Over the years of the work of the hudgraf, its teachers have trained a significant number of artists working in various fields of art. Each of them made a significant contribution to Russian culture.

The exposition was prepared for acquaintance of visitors of the exhibition hall with the image of the Kuban created in their works by artists of different generations. The opening of the exhibition took place on July 4. Art connoisseurs who managed to visit the exhibition were especially interested in paintings by the representatives of the first generation of teachers, as well as their portraits.

In one of the portraits, painted by G. Kravchenko, a magnificent master of realism, viewers could see G.V. Bedu, one of the founders and leaders of the hudgraf. Entered the exhibition and still life, written by an outstanding watercolor painter G. M. Koshelnikov.

Presented in the collection are diploma works owned by N.P. Kalugina and her colleague S. D. Vorzhev. These two names of the last decades are constantly present in the cultural life of the Kuban. A separate topic was student work on veterans.

"Colors of the Kuban" can be seen until July 17.
