KRASNODAR. "The Art of the Young" - with such a telling name the museum. Kovalenko presented the work of students of Sergei Vorzhev, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. The exposition housed about a hundred works by young authors. Most of them were made by the Krasnodar artist Julia Kudina, still young, but already a well-known author of paintings.

Among the works are surprisingly harmonious still lifes, in which compositions from natural gifts grown on Kuban land appeared before the public. The style of her works recalls the surreal landscapes characteristic of the artist’s teacher, Sergey Vorzhev. The exposition also includes works written by other, equally talented students of the honored artist.

The authors of the graphics and paintings presented at the exhibition are Alexandra Miller, Elena Streban, Elena Tkach. Each work has its own style, but each of them clearly shows the influence of the work of Sergey Vorzhev, who taught the technique of painting of young artists.

At the opening of the exhibition, which took place on August 31, was attended not only by friends of artists and admirers of the work of masters of the Kuban. Representatives of the ministry of culture of the region, artists and critics came to congratulate the young generation of artists. Natalya Kostenko, a deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, noted in her greeting the importance of having so many talented students with Sergey Vorzhev.

According to her, the work of Sergei Vorzhev has long been an integral part of Kuban art. It is very pleasant that he managed to share his skills with the young generation of talented artists, teaching them how to create positive works.
