Angels and people on the new stage of the Altai Drama Theater named after Shukshina

BARNAUL. Thanks to the opening of the drama named after Shukshin new experimental scene, starting on June 5, the theater team received at its disposal three scenic venues. This gives more opportunities to show the audience the skills of their actors, more space for rehearsals - which means that the repertoire of the theater will become even more diverse.

The opening of the new stage was marked by the premiere of the play staged by the People’s Artist of the Russian Federation Alexander Zykov, who had already managed to become popular, a play by Viktor Shenderovich. Two hundred viewers (a completely filled hall) appreciated the excellent directorial work with long applause - “Two Angels, Four People” with a subtle sense of humor showed the reality of today’s world.

The performance that appeared on the theatrical poster combined the truth, the lie and the caustic irony, which always arouses the interest of the audience, especially since the actors in the role of the characters on the stage were wonderful actors - beloved by the public Anton Kirkov and Eduard Timoshenko.

However, the main and pleasant surprise for the Barnaul theater-goers was the sad Angel Liquidator who appeared on the stage and was tired of his work. He was played by a peer of the theater - honored artist Alexei Samokhvalov who said goodbye to the audience last season. Indescribably pleased his fans, the actor returned to the stage with the premiere of a new performance.

The works of Viktor Shenderovich are well known among connoisseurs of his sharp and ironic literary style. For his works, the writer and playwright was awarded several prestigious literary prizes. According to his scripts, several popular television programs were shot, which are popular with viewers.

It should be noted that there are no tickets to the premiere for a long time.
