The end of the theater season in Novokuznetsk - tours and new plans

NOVOKUZNETSK. Applause from the audience after the last performance of “The Servant of Two Masters” in this theatrical season, the actors of the Novokuznetsk Drama Theater marked the beginning of the summer tour. From June 11, the theater team will have to master the scenes of the drama theaters of Tomsk and Kemerovo.

However, the stage of their native theater will not remain empty - during their tour the audience of Novokuznetsk will see the repertoire of those theaters on the stage of which the Novokuznetsk artists will show their performances. This year, they became participants in the Theater Theater Trio tour project, which takes place in three cities where theaters operate, involved in a remarkable event that has already attracted the attention of the audience.

Exchange tours will continue on June 23rd, such a duration of the theatrical project will enable viewers to see 44 performances indicated in the tour posters of its participants.

The team of the Novokuznetsk Drama Theater took on tour their best works based on plays by classical and modern playwrights. For young spectators, the theater included in the tour poster, beloved by many generations of children, a wonderful fairy tale by Charles Perrault about a cat in boots.

In the next theater season, the Novokuznetsk Theater will celebrate its 80th anniversary. The jubilee year plans to further develop the theater and, thanks to its participation in a joint project with the Italian theater from Naples, “Toledo Gallery”, access to the international level.

At the same time, two theaters plan to stage a play written by Luigi Pirandello, a contemporary Italian playwright. Then the actors from the Novokuznetsk theater will arrive with a premiere in Naples, and the Italian actors will show their work in Novokuznetsk.
