Globus Theater marks the closing of the season with a parade of premiere performances

NOVOSIBIRSK. At the end of the theatrical season, fans of the Globus Youth Theater got the opportunity to see 8 premiere performances during the week. The parade of theatrical premieres with a performance for children begins.

The long-familiar tale of Cinderella was filled with music and dancing, it contains funny songs, and the plot of the performance is noticeably different from the original. The play, on which the updated Cinderella is staged, was written by Oksana Shtanina, an actress, playwright and young director. The performance was staged by a director from Moscow, Yuri Kataev, who constantly collaborates with the theater and has recently been working specifically for a children’s audience.

The performance involves not only theatrical actors, but also the dancers of the plastic studio. The choreography of the performance was staged by Alexei Frolenkov, known for his recent staging of dances in the musical Scarlet Sails. Little theater-goers will be able to see Cinderella on June 13 and 14 on the main stage of the theater, and on June 16 they will present another fairy-tale premiere to the kids - Finist - The Clear Falcon.

The theater’s staff will delight the adult audience with a varied program, which includes an experimental production of “Cuba”. An unusual project was staged by the actor of the Globe Theater Alexander Lipovsky based on a play authored by himself. Another play, which is widely talked about in the theater world today, will appear before the audience on June 20 - “People’s Love”. A tragic story with an unexpected fatal ending was put by a young metropolitan director Ivan Orlov.

The series “Girls from the Calendar”, the real story described by the English playwright Tim Firth, will complete the series of premiere performances of the Globe Theater. Wonderful heroines of the performance do not allow them to be indifferent, therefore the Novosibirsk audience has already managed to fall in love with the performance.
