On the day of memory of Vysotsky on the stage of the Vladimir drama "Paradise apples"

VLADIMIR. July 24 and 25 on the stage of the theater. Lunacharsky Vladimir fans of Vladimir Vysotsky’s creativity will celebrate watching the famous play "Paradise apples", staged on the twenty-fifth anniversary of the death of the bard. Acting as the artistic director of the production Nikita Vysotsky, when preparing the performance, he had a desire to show the poet’s work, but to do it against the background of his personal life.

This difficult task, Rashid Tugushev, who became the director of the production, brought to life, combining the memories of women who knew the Poet closely, into one monologue through which a series of songs by Vladimir Semenovich passed through as a connecting thread. Twenty-four songs were included in the plot of the play; all of them belong to different periods of the poet’s work.

Each of them, interrupting the monologue of the collective image of a woman, performed by actress and singer Svetlana Grigorieva, as if divides the bard’s work into certain periods, starting with the first songs, for close friends. Songs in the play are performed by Alesey Zykov, singer and composer. At the international competition of singers Vysotsky, held in the 2000th year in Chicago, Alexey Zykov received the Grand Prix.

The last five songs, performed by Alexei Zykov in the final of the play, are considered cultic by connoisseurs of the poet’s work. It is during the performance of them in a row, without interruption, that they show how high energy the singer transfers to the audience. At the same time, his manner of performance is not copying Vladimir Semenovich, but his own, unique.

The performance is often performed on the stage of Vysotsky’s house, located next to Taganskaya Square, but its design is very ascetic, as actors often show it in other cities. Actors come to Vladimir for the first time.
