The competition "Scene 2013" is dedicated to the anniversary of the Chelyabinsk branch of STD

CHELYABINSK. The second stage of the regional theater competition "Scene-2013", which is being held for the fifteenth time, was opened with the performances of the Chelyabinsk Theater of Modern Dance, shown to the audience on the stage of the Drama Theater named after N. Orlova. Only professional theaters participate in this competition, and the repertoire is formed from premiere performances selected for showing by theatrical groups themselves.

The first stage of the competition was held in June. Since children’s performances took part in it, its opening was timed to coincide with Children’s Day. The second part of the regional theater competition, this year dedicated to the anniversary of the Chelyabinsk STD,

Two weeks are allotted for its holding - viewing of competitive performances will be held until October 28th. On this day, participants in the competition will gather at the Small Stage of the Drama Theater. Orlova, where, solemnly closing the show, the jury will name the winners of the show, and the winners will be awarded.

The “Scenes-2013” poster included productions of seven theaters from Chelyabinsk, which is why they entrusted the Chelyabinsk actors with starting the second stage of the competition. According to the established tradition, theaters show their work on their own stage venues, so on October 20 the jury of the competition sets off on a trip to the regional cities.

In Magnitogorsk, a viewing of the works of the Drama Theater. Pushkin and the opera house, in Zlatoust the jury will evaluate the production of the Omnibus theater “Whim”, and in Ozersk the theater “Our Home” will present its reading of Sukhovo-Kobylin’s play “The Case”. Then the show of theatrical works submitted to the competition will continue in Chelyabinsk.

To determine the winners of the 15th regional competition, all performances shown in two stages - children and adults, will be considered.
