Amateur theaters of Voronezh and the region met at the Proba festival Automatic translate

VORONEZH. For the second time, groups of youth amateur theaters are gathering at a theater festival in Voronezh. The opening ceremony of the Proba festival took place at the Youth Creativity Palace on January 27th. On the same day, two theater groups presented their works to the audience.

The Smile Theater Studio, which is part of the Sail of Hope rehabilitation center, where children and adolescents with disabilities are involved, showed its production of Theater Etudes. Young actors of the Dialog Theater Studio (directed by Vladimir Razuvaev) presented a rock-style musical performance, Feast During the Plague.

The theater forum is held in order to strengthen ties and exchange experience between amateur theaters. Such a meeting of amateur actors contributes to the preservation of the best traditions of theatrical art and draws public attention to unprofessional theater groups.

The initiator of the festival was Voronezh State University. The initiative was supported by the Youth Creativity Palace and the Petrovsky Book Club, which provided their premises for festival meetings.

The festival is attended by theater groups working in Voronezh and the region for more than one year. Each of them with his work has earned the recognition of the audience. This year, the festival program will show 11 performances of various theatrical genres. They will be demonstrated at several stage venues, since less than a week is allotted for the festival.

Entrance to the performances is free, so everyone can get acquainted with them. No less interesting is the program of master classes, freely available to all lovers of theatrical art.
