Petersburg Theater "Saturday" presented his work in Vladimir

VLADIMIR. Starting from December 31, Vladimirskiy theater-goers will be able to see the performances of the Saturday theater that came to Vladimir from St. Petersburg. The theater, whose age has already exceeded fifty years, has an interesting history of its appearance. At first, it existed as a Theater-Club, operating under the Vyborg Palace of Culture.

March 1969 is considered the moment of its foundation, when the audience saw the first performance created by a team united by the idea of creating their own theater. By the mid-seventies, when the actors presented to the public the play “Windows, Streets, Gates,” the press started talking about the theater. The production was authored by the theater director Yuri Smirnov-Nesvitsky.

Later, the experimental theater team received the status of a studio theater, and in 1994, the number of municipal theaters of the city replenished. Many of the performances of the theater "Saturday", copyright. Therefore, their names cannot be seen on the posters of other theaters.

The classical authors also appear on Saturday, but when they read the directors of the theater, they take on a look that is different from the productions in other theaters. Within the walls of this theater, several now famous artists began their journey into theatrical art - Semyon Spivak, Konstantin Khabensky, Tatyana Abramova.

The theater "Saturday" brought three performances to Vladimir. Two of them have already presented on the stage of the puppet theater on the day the tour begins. Daytime performances were intended for children, but adult spectators also remarkably accepted them. "Deniskins stories" by Victor Dragunsky are liked by everyone.

In the evening, the theater was waiting for adult spectators. For them they brought "Three Comrades", staged based on Remarque. The next day, both performances were repeated. In the afternoon, on November 2, a play based on the stories of M. Zoshchenko will be shown to children.
