In honor of its anniversary Perm Youth Theater shows the best performances of the theater

PERMIAN. Perm Youth Theater on December 4 will celebrate its anniversary. For half a century, the staff of the popular theater has been pleasing the audience with a wonderful, constantly updated repertoire. Performances of various genres presented in the theatrical poster are already familiar to several generations of spectators.

Most of the theater’s fans first visited it as kids, and now they are bringing their grandchildren to children’s performances. In the repertoire of the Youth Theater there are performances intended for family viewing, classical drama and funny tales for very young viewers.

The directors often turn to the works of modern playwrights, some of them managed to turn into classics during the time that has passed since the opening of the Youth Theater. In connection with the celebration of the anniversary, the theater decided to present the audience with a parade of its best performances, among which the audience will be able to once again see their favorite performances. Many works from the poster of the parade have become the hallmark of the theater. Entered the list of "ceremonial" performances and premieres, recently presented to the public.

The first performance shown to the audience as part of the festive decade, which began on November 23, was the production of Mikhail Skomorokhov’s "The Hunt to Live!…", staged by the director based on Shukshin’s stories. For this performance Skomorokhov received an award - a prize of the Government of the Russian Federation. The jubilee decade continued with the play staged by Viktorov Ilyev “Watch Solo…”, a play by Oswald Zagradnik, a Slovak playwright, well-known to the audience.

Then the audience will meet with the works of Chekhov and Moliere, an evening of vaudeville, the famous "Chonkin". Children will be shown the fairy-tale Gilded Foreheads, which has won many prestigious awards. The festive parade will be completed by the recent premiere of “Lord Golovlev”.
