Eddie Redmayne won the Best Actor nomination for his work in the Theory of Everything film. The best actress of the year was Juliana Moore for her role in the film "Still Alice."

In the nomination “Best Foreign Film”, along with “Leviathan”, such films as “Force Majeure” by Ruben Estlun, the Polish film “Ida” by Pavel Pavlikowski, the Estonian film “Mandarins” by Zaza Urushadze and the Israeli film “Gett: The Vivian Amsalem Process”.
