In the Tver Drama Theater for the New Year holidays prepared the premiere of the musical "Little Red Riding Hood"

TVER. All theaters in the country are preparing for the start of the New Year holidays new productions intended for young theatergoers. Since most children come to the theater with their parents, New Year’s performances are staged so that adults watch them with no less pleasure. The Tver drama approached the choice of performance very seriously. New Year’s premiere was the musical performance "Little Red Riding Hood".

Many of the kids come to the theater is not the first time. This means that they are already well acquainted with the adventures of the Bremen Town Musicians, Cat Leopold and a funny wooden boy named Pinocchio. Now it’s the turn of the story told in the play “Little Red Riding Hood”. Unlike the classic version of this tale, many heroes appeared in it, who previously lived in other fairy tales.

This version of the adventures of fairy-tale heroes was invented in his play by the famous poet, author of texts of many musical performances, Julius Kim. It became the basis of the musical staged by director Alexander Pavlishin. Wonderful melodies were written by composer Gennady Gladkov.

Surprises begin even before the audience gets into the hall - in the lobby they will meet with Santa Claus. Snow Maiden, as usual, next to him. The appearance of artists on the stage is another surprise - it turned out that the main character of the fairy tale story was Ksenia, a modern girl. Her love for fairy tales and the ability to fantasize gathered a lot of characters on stage, and at the same time her own grandmother.

Spectators also become part of this fantastic story, so the hall is constantly filled with the buzz of children’s voices - young theatergoers help fairy-tale heroes to solve the secrets of the magical world where their journey takes place. The musical will go daily until the end of the vacation.
