In Saratov, the tour of students of the theater school Oleg Tabakov ended

SARATOV. The Youth Theater hosts tours of students studying in a theater school, led by Oleg Tabakov. This student landing is coming to Saratov for the second time. Two years ago, fourth-year students showed their skills on the stage of the Youth Theater, who pleased the theatergoers of Saratov with their performance of the play "Profitable Place". This time the tour has become more ambitious - third-year students brought three graduation performances.

The first touring performance was Dead Souls. The audience appreciated the originality of the stage reading and the high professionalism of the novice artists with a standing ovation, which sounded not only at the end of the performance, but also during its duration. The performance took place on June 1, and the next day, journalists came to the Youth Theater to talk with Yuri Kravets, the director of the Tabakov school.

Yuri Kravets emphasized that during the training students are often offered independent work. They also approached the choice of plays for diploma performances. They do not themselves choose the material that they will work on, but teachers listen to their opinion. Most of the student work is on classical drama.

The performances “Echelon”, “Last Summer in Chulimsk”, included in the tour poster, can quite be attributed to classical works, since their authors have long been members of the Russian classics. Anna Gulyarenko, director and teacher of the Tabakova school, said that the performance “Echelon” was prepared by five students of her course almost independently. Teachers only added a few scenes and included several fourth-year students in the production.

Before the start of the tour, unrest was experienced a lot. Students say that the success of their performances is largely due to the Saratov audience, grateful and understanding.
