In the Penza drama, the audience warmly accepted the play based on the play by Alexander Gelman "Alone with All"

PENZA. The first premiere of this year was held at the Penza Drama Theater. On March 9, director Ekaterina Petrova presented the play “Alone with All,” staged by Alexander Gelman. This playwright is known for his production dramas, in which he focuses on human relations, revealing their depth.

Ekaterina Petrova previously presented this play in Penza, but then it was a sketch of the play, created by a young director during a creative laboratory. The laboratory, which took place during the Maskarad Theater Festival, worked on the theme of the Forgotten Soviet Play. Sergei Kazakov, the artistic director of the Penza drama, was interested in the work of Ekaterina Petrova, and he invited her to stage a full-fledged performance in his theater.

Introducing the public to the premiere, Sergei Vladimirovich spoke about the importance of the issues raised in this wonderful play. Every day a person has problems of choice. The choice is not always made right, so he often finds excuses for himself, talking about the circumstances that affected his decision. Sometimes an incorrect solution to a problem can lead a person to a dead end without a way out.

In terms of its content, Gelman’s play is very tough, however, when the play was created, the director and the acting team gave it even more spiciness. In reading Ekaterina Petrova, the play invites viewers to make sure that a person going into transactions with his conscience for his own benefit expects a complete loss of his personality.

The premiere took place with a fully filled room. Sergei Kazakov noted that tickets for the next performances have already been sold out. Therefore, if the popularity of the production of "Alone with All" will grow, then the artistic director plans to transfer the performance to the main stage.
