Personal exhibition of artist Marina Leisgold "Image, stain, color"

Leizhold Marina Borisovna works in monumental and easel painting, graphics. Born in Russia on August 3, 1967. Lives in Moscow. Member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia, Moscow Union of Artists, International Art Fund. Graduated from Moscow University. M.A.Sholokhov (Faculty of Graphic Arts). She studied with the professor of painting and drawing G. B. Smirnov, dean of the faculty of painting. V.I.Surikova.

Marina Leizgold is a curator of art projects in Russia and abroad. At the Festival of Arts in France, she won the Grand Prix for the project "Game of the imagination." She was awarded a nominal watch by the Minister of Railways of the Russian Federation for the creation of the Expression studio and the Behind the Bridge art gallery, Russia, Moscow, 1997. He is grateful to the Russian Academy of Arts for conducting master classes, educational and scientific-educational activities.

The creativity of Marina Leisgold is characterized by a tendency to express the emotional characterization of images, landscapes, and abstract compositions. The principles of expression often prevail over the image. Space and time, as a form of moving matter, are expressed in the work “Look Around”… This is an abstract and concrete one. Concrete appears as a form and color…. Abstract is perceived by images.

As part of the personal exhibition, the video installation “fly ’the bird!” Will be presented

The bird, a symbol of independence and freedom, is boldly and widely interpreted by the artist, the image of the “creative flight” finds its visual embodiment. The author’s works are filled with symbols and meanings. The artist’s works are dynamic, emotional and even eccentric, which corresponds to the author’s method of execution and conveys the individual content of each of the works.
