Exhibition of Tatiana Nazarenko "The future is in the past"

The exhibition will be based on the artist’s paintings of the 2000-2010s, which are built according to the thematic principle and are designed to trace the key plots and genres, motives and images that Tatyana Nazarenko has been developing from the early 1970s to the present day. Among the works at the exhibition are images of war filled with drama and anxiety, multi-figured scenes of everyday feasts, non-canonical biblical compositions, the Family Album painting series and the Monuments sculptural series, the Moscow Table installation and the famous fake plywood figures from the Transition project… As special inclusions, iconic paintings from the collections of the State Tretyakov Gallery ("The Decembrists. Rise of the Chernigov Regiment", "Workshop", "Pugachev") are presented.
