The cultural face of Donetsk at the exhibition in the center of modern art "Isolation"

From August 1 to October 2012, Donetsk hosts the exhibition Donetsk: Artifacts, which was created to demonstrate to the public the previously unknown sides of this industrial giant. But a city, which is often seen as a source of income rather than a beloved and friendly city, can be completely different. Depending on the subjective worldview, it can be bright and promising, or, conversely, inspire depression and a feeling of complete hopelessness. And at the same time remain holistic, a little mysterious and not fully understood.

Artists, photographers and sculptors jointly created an exhibition dedicated to the unknown soul of the city. And numerous maps of different eras, tourist albums and countless interesting stories about the development of the city, will allow each visitor to change their idea of a place that has long been too familiar to devote much time to studying it.

The first visitors left the exhibition extremely surprised, amazed that they might not have noticed the whole depth about the originality of Donetsk. And this is despite the fact that we have lived in it all my life! Therefore, all citizens who consider their city not worthy of close attention should visit the exhibition and make sure otherwise.
