Sculptor Monika Zawadski at the PinchukArtCentre Kiev Center for Contemporary Art

Pinchuk Art Center, located in Kiev, has prepared for Ukrainians an exhibition of a modern Polish sculptor - Monika Zavadskaya. The opening of the event, which takes place as part of the "Man on Two Swings" cultural program, took place on August 28. And it was accompanied by an evening of communication with the public, where the artist had a conversation on the topic of art and the significance of creativity in society. The exposition is located on the 5th floor of the center at the PAC-UA site.

The Polish artist is distinguished by a specific vision of the world and the role of art in people’s lives and strive, using simple graphic forms, to depict the most diverse aspects of the world. However, she pays the main attention directly to people whom she captures in sculptures, photographs, installations, and videos.

Complicated topics that reveal the internal identity of objects, images, thought forms, bright personalities, she tries to display as universally as possible. Each of her works retains the imprint of a deep inner world, but does not carry excessive intellectualization. The images embodied by her are simple, concise and perfectly remembered!
