"Uncontrolled emotions" by Paul Flickange at the Moscow Zurab Tsereteli Art Gallery

On August 30, the opening of the exhibition “Uncontrolled emotions” by the famous French artist Paul Flicange took place. Such an extraordinary name is associated with the position of the author who prefers to be a free artist and “create the world from his own depth”, and not obey popular trends.

The painter, who received a classical art education in France, is more inclined to follow the currents of cubism, Fauvism and surrealism. However, it is precisely the fundamental principles obtained in his youth that allow him to create at his own discretion, without losing touch with the audience.

The exposition was made up of 100 works most relevant for the author, creating which he tried to combine an intellectual analysis of reality with uncontrollable emotional experiences. Therefore, his every work is a surge of emotions and a storm of symbols. The artist seeks to express deeply personal experiences through the plots of everyday life, depicting them through the prism of his own perception. He plays with eras, colors, styles and creates his own special world, striking with its sometimes overly bright, then surprisingly hidden sensuality.
