UVA. Art Museum. Nesterova in the exhibition hall "Izhad" on March 19 opened an exhibition of works of art dedicated to the year of the Horse. The exhibition, which began work under the name "Argamak-2014", presented in its exposition works of various art genres performed by thirty artists.

The image of a horse has always been an integral part of the history and culture of Bashkir culture. This is emphasized in the name of the exhibition - the word "Argamak" is a generalized name for the breeds of oriental horses, common in Bashkiria.

In total, the exhibition presents 78 paintings and graphic works, sculptures and decorative and applied works that embodied the images of one of the most noble, surprisingly graceful animals of our planet.

For the Bashkir people, all the legends associated with horses represent them as the personification of the ideals of courage, daring and freedom. Many literary works written by Bashkir writers are devoted to the relationship between man and horse, which has always been a true friend and helper for people.

The selection of works presented in the museum. Nesterova, was held in December last year. This event was also held in the form of an exhibition organized in the exhibition hall of the Rada hunters club. At this exhibition, each of the participants had the opportunity to show no more than three of their works performed in any genre of art.

The best works were presented to visitors of the Argamak-2014 exhibition, which will run on April 20th. The exhibition was created by the joint efforts of the Museum. Nesterov and Hunting Club "Rada". After the exhibition closes in Ufa, its exhibition will be on display in other cities of the republic. She will be seen in Sterlitamak, Salavat, Neftekamsk, as well as in Ishimbay.
