The composer’s experience - the cello sonata - was met with enthusiasm no less than the usual solo on the piano. A message about broadcasts of classical works in the Novosibirsk metro during the New Year holidays caused an unprecedented resonance.

Tchaikovsky and Bach spiritualized the usual pre-holiday bustle, sounding surprisingly appropriate under the arches of an unusual concert hall underground. The probability of the next step - going to the Philharmonic - for several tens or hundreds of neophytes increases many times. The stock of New Year’s miracles should certainly be enough for Boris Mezdrich, who “was guilty” only because he acted decently in a very difficult situation. He did not betray, did not give slack where it was practically impossible to stay. Receiving at the Vakhtangov Theater a thunderous ovation the “Theater Star” award for “Tannhauser,” the ex-director told the audience that all these months had been unsuccessfully knocking on different doors that had closed for him after the sensational story. Now all his time is occupied with work on a book about the theater, in which there will be a lot of interesting thoughts and a lot of pain. Decent and courageous are in demand at any time. So is it worth it to scatter worthy people?
