The project "Northern landing" is dedicated to the anniversary of one of the most famous construction projects of the last century - 40 years have passed since the beginning of the construction of BAM. In honor of the anniversary, residents of Bratsk, Zheleznogorsk and Ust-Kut will see the charity performance “37 postcards” staged by the famous Polish director Krzysztof Zanussi.

In the villages of Zvezdny, Yantal and Niya, residents will meet with metropolitan actors. They will see People’s Artist of the Russian Federation Yuri Nazarov, Honored Actress of the Russian Federation Lyudmila Maltseva, as well as their former fellow countryman who received the profession of an actor at the Theater School of Irkutsk, Oleg Akulich.

This acting team will hold creative meetings, as part of master classes, meet with artists of amateur associations, and also present new films for adults and children to the audience. The "Northern Landing" will finish its work on July 31, and then the second, main stage of the festival will begin, its opening will take place in Irkutsk on August 2.

Until August 8, 40 films shot in 15 countries of the world will be presented to viewers. No less interesting will be the theatrical part, consisting of eight performances. Festival performances will be held on the stage of the Irkutsk drama named after Okhlopkova. Awarding of the winners will take place on this stage on August 8th.

In total, prizes will be awarded in 12 nominations, among which there will be 4 nominations in a theater competition. The award is a crystal figurine symbolizing Lake Baikal.
