The Siberian region is represented by the Perm Youth Theater, Novosibirsk’s “Old House” and the Youth Theater from Chelyabinsk. The Tilsit Theater from the Kaliningrad Region (Sovetsk) was rapidly gaining popularity.

At the opening ceremony of the Rainbow, the first persons of the city, Vyacheslav Makarov (Head of the Legislative Assembly) and Georgy Poltavchenko, Governor of St. Petersburg, greeted the participants in the theater forum. They wished the participants of the festival successful displays of their works, and the audience - new, vivid impressions.

The first performance in the Rainbow program was the work of French directors. The company of Philippe Genti presented the wonderful performance "Do not forget me." This amazingly beautiful production performed by young actors from Norway was enthusiastically received by the public.
