Mironov Vitaly Sergeevich - Honored Artist of Russia, People’s Artist of Russia. Was born in 1942. In 1969 he graduated from the Yaroslavl Art School, in 1977 - from the Moscow State Academic Art Institute. V.I.Surikov. He studied with such famous Soviet masters as A. M. Gritsai, D. D. Zhilinsky, T. T. Salakhov. Since 2002, Vitaly Sergeevich has been an honorary citizen of the city of Borovsk.

Since 1977 he has been participating in art exhibitions.

Since 1980 he has been a member of the Union of Artists of Russia.

Vitaly Sergeevich successfully works in all genres of pictorial art. The main themes of the works are the modern life of a provincial city, historical, architectural and lyrical landscapes. His works are distinguished by bright and individual pictorial handwriting, interesting compositional and coloristic solutions. Firmly connected with nature, faithful to vivid impressions and personal experiences, the artist is consistent in his style, in his artistic form, invariably faithful to the essence of the national traditions of Russian painting.
