In the "World of Things and Feelings" by Vladimir Zinkevich

On December 11, a significant exhibition of the recognized Belarusian artist Vladimir Zinkevich was opened in Minsk. The artist entered the "free creative swimming" in 1977, immediately after receiving a diploma from the Belarusian Theater and Art Institute. His paintings are not only in museum collections, but also among private collections of fine connoisseurs of contemporary art around the world: Russia, Belarus, several European and even American countries.

In all his works, the artist strives to create his own world and strive to convey his vision to the audience. Therefore, the paintings are saturated with symbols, images, saturated colors. Moreover, each canvas causes a lot of associations, so that a person is able to perceive his work without undue stress. His works primarily focus on emotional perception and only indirectly on logical analysis.

The opening of the exhibition “The World of Things and Feelings” was crowded, the speech was held by the Minister of Culture B.V. Svetlov, director of the art museum V.I. Prokoptsev, People’s Artist of Belarus G.Kh. Vashchenko and many others. From December 12, the works presented at the exhibition are available for wide viewing.

Vladimir Zinkevich in his works turns to the subconscious, he draws out from him unexpected reactions, vivid memories, strange analogies, inconsistent judgments. The inner world of paintings is strong enough to create a unique atmosphere of the exhibition, revealing the psychological portrait of the master.
