Tyumen artists celebrated their anniversary with a large-scale retrospective exhibition

TYUMEN. This year, the Tyumen Territory celebrates two anniversaries at the same time - the 70th anniversary of the region and the regional branch of the Union of Artists of Russia celebrated the same number of years. It was decided to mark these events with an extensive art exhibition. A catalog was prepared for the exhibition, where Vladimir Yakushev, the governor of the region, posted his greeting.

The greeting said that the Tyumen land has always been famous for its talents. Thanks to the masters of art of all genres, a cultural space has been formed in the region that enriches the life of the inhabitants of the region. Artists relate to absolutely all topics - they paint landscapes of amazing beauty, recreate the images of heroes who became victors in the Patriotic War, talk about the everyday life of professions such as the oilman and the driller.

To create an exposition, the exhibition space was allocated by the Tyumen Museum of Fine Arts, where the large-scale exhibition of works of art by Tyumen masters was opened on October 8. The exhibition can be seen for exactly two months. Art lovers can access more than two hundred works created by Tyumen artists, graphic artists and sculptors. Included in the exposition and works of decorative art.

The time for the creation of some works is 1944, the year the Tyumen branch of the Union of Artists was created. Some of the works were in the collection of the museum complex to them. Slovtsova, and some were kept in private collections. The works included in the anniversary exposition were participants in various exhibitions at which they received worthy awards.

Throughout the exhibition, master classes by renowned artists and various educational programs will take place. The opened exhibition will allow you to see both the past and the present work of Tyumen masters.
