Personal exhibition of Vladimir Lunevsky in the museum and exhibition center

BRYANSK. The regional museum and exhibition center, located on Yemlyutin Street, is waiting for connoisseurs of painting art at the exhibition of the Bryansk artist Vladimir Lunevsky, which opened on November 19.

A native of Bryansk, the profession of artist Vladimir Mikhailovich received in Rostov, where he studied at the theater and decoration department of the school named after Grekov. Since 1970, after graduating from college, Vladimir Lunevsky was engaged in the design of performances in the theaters of Bryansk and Tula.

The artist devoted his free time to work on easel painting. Parallel work in various creative genres served as the reason for the appearance in the artist’s paintings of elements of theatrical conventions - generalization, symbolism, metaphors.

The wide creative range of Vladimir Mikhailovich allows him to successfully create canvases with portraits, urban and rural landscapes, still lifes. Although landscapes of contemporary Bryansk appear on the artist’s canvases, they do not resemble documentary reporting. Each of the works reflects the artist’s inner vision of the world.

The artist uses a variety of artistic techniques. His landscape compositions can accurately convey nature, and sometimes become like a decorative panel. Portraits painted by the painter are also executed in a different manner. Some may be lyrical, soft and elegant, while others have a philosophical aspect

Among the works performed by Vladimir Lunevsky, there are picturesque and voluminous compositions. In them, the artist combines painting, embossed masks and subject details. With his work, Lunevsky proves his own opinion about art. According to him, it is not a reflection of the real world, but exists in parallel.
