"Red Horse" Balzhinima Dorzhieva replenished the collection of the Irkutsk Art Museum

He presented one of his paintings to the Irkutsk Art Museum. V.P. Sukachev artist from Buryatia Balzhinima Dorzhiev. Recall that his personal exhibition was held in May-June 2016 in the main building of the museum. The exposition, which gathered a lot of rave reviews from visitors, presented more than 40 new paintings. These are works dedicated to the native land, its people, traditions, customs and legends. The artist’s favorite theme is the female image: dangins and hatans, abstract and realistic nudes, portraits of charming and touching girls in the rain.

For the gift, the painting "The Red Horse" was chosen. According to Balzhinima Dorzhiev, this work most accurately characterizes his work. “I am characterized by experiments and creative searches,” the artist notes, “and I can call this picture a program that reflects my basic style of work. Everything is symbolic here - old people, swans, steppe, datsan, horse and child - all of this together represents my native land. ”

The author also added that the red color for him is one of his favorites. It symbolizes joy, wealth and fullness of life.

"Red Horse" will replenish the funds of the Irkutsk Art Museum. Balzhinima Dorzhiev himself, according to him, has big creative plans. His next solo exhibition is expected to take place in Moscow.

Balzhinima Dorzhiev was born in 1950 in the village of Ulan-Bulag of the Aginsky Buryat District. Graduated with honors from the Irkutsk Art College. Member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Buryatia since 1984. Awarded the titles of “People’s Artist of Buryatia”, “Laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Buryatia”, “Honored Artist of the Russian Federation”. Member of republican, union, international exhibitions since 1981. For more than 20 years he worked as the main artist of the Buryat Drama Theater.
