"My Altai" - landscapes of the Altai artist Vladimir Yelnikov in Kemerovo

KEMEROVO. Until October 22 in the Kuzbass Arts Center you can visit the exhibition "My Altai", where you can get acquainted with the work of the painter Vladimir Yelnikov. To create an exhibition, the author selected about a hundred works. The organizers of the exhibition could not place some of them in the exhibition space, but the exposition still turned out to be quite voluminous.

The guests of the art center received enough impressions to appreciate the talent of the landscape painter. The author has already shown his solo exhibition this year in Biysk and Maim, where he received many positive reviews about his works. In addition to the paintings that participated in previous exhibitions, Vladimir Elnikov also included new works written during spring and summer plein airs in the exposition presented in Kemerovo.

The artist spoke about his participation in the Inegen-2017 project, which took place at the place where Chuya and Katun merge. This art summit was attended by painters from the cities of Altai Krai, Novosibirsk and Novokuznetsk.

The creative atmosphere of the project, the master classes, contests and discussions of the future art directions, as well as the amazing nature inspired the creation of new works. Landscapes painted during participation in the project by Vladimir Yelnikov also entered the Kemerovo exhibition.

The painter also spoke about his plans for the near future. Already on October 10, paintings by Vladimir Yelnikov can be seen in Novosibirsk, where the exhibition "Red Avenue" opens. This regional exhibition will combine the work of artists representing the Far East, Siberia and the Urals. Artists of the Altai Territory are also preparing to take part in an interregional project planned for next year. It will be held in Novokuznetsk.
