New leaders presented to the Pskov Drama Theater

PSKOV. On August 24, a meeting of the theater team with the region’s governor Andrei Turchak and Dmitry Meskhiev, who heads the theater and concert directorate, took place in the Pskov drama. This meeting was crucial for the further work of the theater team.

The staff was introduced to the new management of the theater - theater director from St. Petersburg Grigory Kozlov, who took the post of artistic director, and director Alexander Kladko, was appointed chief director of the Pskov drama. He also came to Pskov from St. Petersburg.

Grigory Kozlov is one of the leading theater directors in St. Petersburg. Many of Grigory Kozlov’s works have been awarded prizes at various festivals. His work went down in the history of directorial works created in St. Petersburg in the nineties, largely determining the direction of the aesthetics of the city’s theaters. For about five years, the director held the position of artistic director in the Youth Theater. Bryantseva.

In the mid-nineties, Grigory Kozlov became a teacher at the Theater Academy, and in 2010 he became the founder of the Workshop Theater. Viewers have already met one of the works of Alexander Kladko. "Our Avlabar" was the name of the play, which was shown in the Pskov drama in June this year. A graduate of the Academy of Theater Arts of St. Petersburg, the director staged performances on many stages of the country, is actively working with the troupe of the Youth Theater, located on the Fontanka.

Each of these masters of theatrical art has sufficient work experience to help the theater live a new life.
