Reporting exhibition of works by students of Children’s Art Schools and Children’s Art Schools "Symphony of Color"

On April 11, in the exhibition hall of the Omsk branch of the Union of Artists of Russia (Lermontov St., 8), the city reporting exhibition-competition of children’s art schools and art schools of the city of Omsk "Symphony of Color" was opened. This year, over 1.5 thousand works were submitted to the competition. Of these, more than 450 works by students of four art and 15 art schools with art departments were selected and included in the exposition, these are 19 children’s art schools and art schools in the city of Omsk.

According to the Department of Culture of the City Hall, the exhibition "Symphony of Color" has been leading its history for 50 years. It got its name in 2007 because of the creative polyphony of the presented works, the variety of directions and techniques: easel composition, painting, printed and unique graphics, arts and crafts, ceramics.

The exhibition demonstrates a vivid panorama of children’s creativity, their direct view of the world and an extraordinary approach to solving problems set by the teacher. The reporting exhibition of school students includes various topics and genres, a variety of techniques and creative techniques. Every year, the successes of children are presented in the main types of art - graphics, painting, composition. The exhibition never ceases to amaze with the level of children’s skill, the analytical thinking of children, their understanding of nature. In drawings, printed graphics, painting, composition, the world of nature and hometown, favorite objects and things, literary heroes appear.

The exposition of the exhibition testifies that the teachers of the Children’s Art School and Children’s School of Art strive to reveal the high artistic potential in students, to help the child learn to observe and learn about the world around him. Therefore, the exhibition presents so many diverse works both in terms of ideological and aesthetic content, and in terms of execution technique. Works of arts and crafts are the brightest part of children’s creativity. Here and ceramics, and patchwork technique, as well as batik and tapestry. It is gratifying to realize that the traditional folk origins are not forgotten. Colorful compositions clearly convince of this. The exhibition project presents a small part of the best work done by students in the last academic year. We invite citizens and guests of the city to visit the "Artist’s House" to appreciate the stunning beauty of the exposition. Even the level of professional exhibitions is not always as high as at this one. Such exhibitions are necessary, they must be supported.

The last day of the exhibition - April 22, the best works of young artists will traditionally be awarded diplomas in various categories.
