The project "Ukraine - Poland:
Sofia - Wawel" has started

Kiev was the first city within the framework of which an exhibition of the Ukrainian-Polish cultural cooperation project opened. It presents the work of the Polish photographer Pietra Kloseka, widely known to the Western public due to his active creative work. His main hobby is jazz in all its manifestations - music, life.

A passionate love for improvisation, bright and innovative solutions, a sincere love for the world, make his photos live. By 2012, more than 200 albums of classical and jazz music were released in Europe with its cover photos. Is this not evidence of recognition of talent?

However, the photographer does not deprive other attention of other aspects of life. He is equally sensitive to architectural structures that amaze with the elegance of their lines and, of course, historical value. Therefore, the exhibition, which will be open in the Khlebni art center until August 13, has a double value - cultural and political.

The key idea of opening the project was the desire to connect the two countries with an invisible thread of creativity. Therefore, the works of Pietra Klosek dedicated to Krakow will be presented in Ukraine. And the Poles at the same time will be available photos of the most interesting places in Kiev. Thus, with the help of a photograph, the “hearts” of such dissimilar cities will clog in unison, at least for the duration of the project.
