The "fourth dimension" is in Ukraine!

On September 3, the opening of the annual symposium of contemporary art took place on the Biryuchy Peninsula, located in the warm Sea of Azov. The tradition of holding cultural symposia during the velvet season began in 2006, when the first artists gathered here to discuss the current state of art, its main trends and future prospects.

The title “The Fourth Dimension” was proposed as a conceptual topic, which fully characterizes the position of a person in the universe, his sense of time and the connection between the epochs that are his ancestors and those that come after him. In the context of inextricable time, when the moment “here and now” is perceived as a prison that limits the true impulses of the soul, art takes the form of a deliverer from everyday life, from the shackles and fears of the present.

Creative people from all over Ukraine gathered here to determine “where to move art” and what it should give to the public. Within the framework of the symposium, discussions will be held on the current state of art, the worldview of a contemporary artist and attempts to understand where in the work the boundaries of his soul begin and end, the influence of fashion on the formation of high style and the future of Ukrainian painting.
