In the Maly Theater, the performance "Imaginary Sick" celebrate the anniversary of V. Bochkarev

On the stage of the Maly Theater in Moscow tonight, on November 27th, Moliere’s comedy “Imaginary Sick”, popular among viewers, will be shown. In this performance, the main role is played by Vasily Bochkarev, in his honor after the performance congratulations will be heard from colleagues, friends and relatives on the seventieth anniversary of the actor.

The anniversary of the artist in the family circle was celebrated on November 22nd, but on the stage, which became Vasily Bochkarev’s home since 1979, the best jubilee present will be her appearance in the sparkling Moliere comedy. The actor in it plays one of his favorite roles - Argan. The repertoire of Vasily Bochkarev has many main roles played over many years, worked out within the walls of the Maly Theater. Since the Maly Theater mainly refers to the works of classical drama, the roles of Vasily Bochkarev are mostly written by great playwrights.

Although the artist’s first place of work was the Theater on Malaya Bronnaya, but the beginning of the theatrical career was closely connected with the Maly Theater - Vasily Bochkarev studied at the famous theater school named after Shchepkina, created at the Maly Theater. At the Shchepkinsky school, his teachers were V.I. Korshunov and Yu. M. Solomin. Today, Vasily Ivanovich himself leads a course in his native school, starting his career as a teacher in 2003.

After graduating from college, the young actor successfully worked in several Moscow theaters, but when he received an invitation from his former teacher V. Korshunov for the main role in the wonderful performance “The Marriage of Balzaminov”, he did not hesitate for a long time. Since then, the walls of the Maly Theater have become native for Vasily Bochkarev. The next big role played by the artist was Gorky Thomas Gordeev, a real gift in the acting destiny.

Vasily Ivanovich has many creative plans, but the artist is in no hurry to reveal his secrets.
