Nizhny Novgorod Drama Theater invites to its birthday

NIZHNY NOVGOROD. The Nizhny Novgorod Drama Theater celebrates its birthday and awaits guests. The celebration is scheduled for February 7, 2015. Its discovery took place at the end of the 18th century. On February 7, 1798, actors from the troupe of Prince Nikolai Grigoryevich Shakhovsky performed on the stage of the Nizhny Novgorod Public Theater. The aristocrat moved to Nizhny Novgorod for permanent residence and moved all his property and his hobbies with him, including the cast, which opened the first season of the theater with the play “Choosing a Tutor” based on the comedy by D.I. Fonvizin.
