Wonderful collection! I visited the museum in September 2015 and it left a very mixed impression. Part of the truly significant works were on display at an exhibition in the US. The exhibition itself was quite surprising – a combination of new exhibition principles with something resembling a 17th-century cabinet of curiosities. There were paintings arranged in five rows, without labels; for those particularly curious, there were large sheets with descriptions tucked away in a corner of the room. The lighting was good, but you could easily miss a lot. I recommend visiting everyone, and especially those who are planning to visit the museum. By the way, at the ticket office, you can buy a ticket for 20 euros, which allows you to see not only the main museum but also its magnificent branch and the Habsburg Treasury.
